Primary Dressings

Collagen
Dressing*

The collagen dressings are porous collagen membranes that are designed to be permeable and breathable, with fluid control similar to skin.

They are flexible, pliable, elastic, and durable for ease of application.

Collagen
Powder*

The particles have a high surface area, allowing them to effectively penetrate and deliver collagen across the wound surface.

Secondary Dressings

Antimicrobial Gauze

Antimicrobial Gauze contains the antiseptic PHMB (Polyhexamethylene Biguanide). This helps to minimize bacterial colonization and reduces bacterial penetration. It provides broad-spectrum effectiveness against gram-positive, gram-negative and fungi/yeast microorganisms including MRSA and VRE.

Antimicrobial Gauze limits cross contamination and can serve as a secondary dressing to cover primary dressings. It is also hypoallergenic.2

Island Composite
Dressing

These dressings contain a non-adherent contact layer that covers the wound site. It consists of a soft absorbent pad that collects exudate and protects the wound from trauma.

It also has a non-woven backing with an adhesive border that is gentle and holds the pad in place.

*Collagen dressings can be used to supplement wound environments by providing a matrix that aids the body’s healing processes1.
